Drink a cold brew and sing to bluegrass in Columbia Heights, at Acre 121. In late June, this southern bar opened its doors showcasing live band performances with low-country cuisine, accompanied with local beer selection.
Formerly the CommonWealth, Acre 121 has made a few changes to the interior decor and features live country and light rock music bands nearly every night. Each Tuesday night, they invite you to come and for bar trivia at 7:30pm.
Paying homage to local brewers, they have DC Brau, Flying Dog, and more. They are unapologetically happy to serve you Abita Light and shake their heads to Miller Lite and Bud Light.
Their happy hour is Tuesday through Friday and they mix it up a little for extra flavor. On Tuesdays, they offer half-off beer and rail drinks. For hump day, they show vino love with half-price wine by the glass. They also do half off bottles the entire night, with an entree purchase. Each Thursday & Friday, all specialty cocktails are $2 off!
From banjo bands to tricky trivia, there is something for everyone here, every night. In the heart of Columbia Heights, steps away from the metro, Acre 121 is sure to be a permanent neighborhood fixture.1400 Irving St., NW WDC 20010 202.328.0121 acre121.com
